Three people are in custody following an overnight shooting that injured three in the parking lot of the K & B Lounge in Warren County.

According to Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace, deputies arrived at the lounge just after 3:00 a.m. and found a 26-year-old woman shot in the buttocks, a 25-year-old man with a gunshot graze wound to the head and a 19-year-old man who had been hit by two cars.

It appears that the 19-year-old was hit by the cars in the midst of the shooting as people were trying to get away.

19-year-old Tony Smoots, 20-year-old Keondre Price and 21-year-old Charles Doss Jr., all of Vicksburg, were arrested when they returned to the scene to retrieve a cell phone that was left.

They have each been charged with three counts of aggravated assault.

According to Sheriff Pace, the shooting stemmed from an earlier argument that took place at another location. Investigators say the suspects came to the lounge with the intent to assault someone. It is not clear if the injured were the intended targets.

Investigators later executed a search warrant on a seized 1984 Oldsmobile and recovered two weapons. Multiple stamped shells were also recovered in the parking lot.

Sheriff Pace said multiple investigators have been working through the night and he will not rule out the possibility of additional charges or arrests in this case.

The victims' injuries do not appear to be life threatening.

This is a developing story. We will continue to update this as more information becomes available.
