Mississippi State and Oklahoma baseball put up a football score on the diamond. The Sooners used a 9-run 7th inning to beat the Bulldogs 20-10 in the opening game of the Tallahassee Regional.
Dustin Skelton was the bright spot for MSU, he had 4 RBI on the afternoon. Skelton hit a 2-run HR in the 2nd then followed that with a 2-run single in the 3rd.
The Sooners took the lead in the 4th with a 2-run homer, but MSU responded with a pair of blasts. Rowdey Jordan delivered the equalizer, MacNamee put the maroon and white in front with a 2-run jack.
But Oklahoma batted around in the 7th, turning a 10-7 deficit into a 16-10 advantage. 15 Sooners had ABs, scoring 9 runs on 7 hits and 4 walks.

Mississippi State will play #7 Florida State in a elimination game Saturday at 11:00am. The Bulldogs of Samford upset the Seminoles 7-6 in the nightcap.
