Ole Miss baseball looking to check another goal off their list

Last year Ole Miss didn't make the tournament, but this year, it's the polar opposite, they're ranked number four in the nation and hosting the regional in Oxford.

Coming into the post season was like a pre-flight check for the rebels. And now they're looking to make another check on that growing list of goals this post season.

Ryan Rolison, the rebels pitcher, began the season with goals, especially for the seniors.

"You know our team goals were to win 40 games, an you know we did that, and to win the west, and then to win the sec championship. All the boxes are checked so far. So you know we want to do it for the seniors, we want to do it for each other, and you know that's our goal is to come out and get better each day, and play the best we can," said Rolison.

Coach Bianco, has the most wins in program history, but not making the tournament last season gave the rebels an new look on this tournament.

"They were humbled last year and so I think confident but understand that if you don't play well, especially now, you lose. You know all these teams are good and anybody can beat you," said Bianco.

The rebels play this Friday against the St. Louis Billikens at 6:30 p.m. on the SEC NETWORK.
