A quiet start to your Thursday; a mix of sunshine and clouds will push highs into the middle 90s. A southerly wind will push feels like temperatures closer to 110° this afternoon. A few storms will be possible through the afternoon and early evening hours.
More storms will be possible over the next few days as several disturbances move over the region. Highs will top out in the upper 80s and lower 90s. A few of the storms could be strong or heavy. A cold front will drag through the region by mid-next week, eventually scouring out the humidity levels late next week.
In the tropics, Sub-Tropical Storm Ernesto has formed in the north central Atlantic. The storm will continue to move northward and stay out to sea; losing steam over the cooler water of the Atlantic, though the remnants of the storm could have an impact on Ireland, England and Scotland by the end of the weekend.
