MDOC looking for probationer who stole car

JACKSON, MS (WLBT) -

The Mississippi Department of Corrections and other authorities are looking for a probationer who stole a vehicle Friday in Leflore County.

Robert Shane Moore, #133175, was traveling in a silver Nissan Rogue with the license plate LIN 978.

That vehicle has been found in Boyle in Bolivar County, but Moore is still at large.

Moore, assigned to the Leflore County Technical Violation Center, is currently on supervision for three felonies.

The 32-year-old was convicted in Sunflower County of burglary of an unoccupied dwelling and a felon in possession of a firearm on June 28, 2010, and nonresidential burglary on Feb. 2, 2015, in Bolivar County. He was given a total of seven years to serve with five years and nine months on probation.
