JPD has identified two suspects, that were taken into custody, in connection to a deadly shooting Sunday morning in Holmes County.

JPD tweeted the suspects' identities as 29-year-old Donald Wilson and 32-year-old Marquita Steadman.

Holmes County Sheriff Willie March says 43-year-old Christopher Robinson was shot multiple times, just after 3 a.m. Sunday, outside of a Holmes County nightclub.

Sonya Watson, Robinson's girlfriend, told us he was shot about six times outside Club Mixx, located on Highway 49 near Tchula.

"He's sweet, humble, loved everyone, even his enemies. He still loved them because he still spoke to them. Try to keep the peace and he loved his family so much and he sure enough loved all his kids," Watson said. "No matter what they went through, him and his family, he still loved his family,"

JPD Commander Tyree Jones said the suspects are being held at the Jackson Police Department and are awaiting extradition back to Holmes County.

We will continue to update this developing story as more information becomes available.
