RANKIN COUNTY, MS (WLBT) -

On Monday, GTR K9 Units out of Columbus searched the wooded area off of Bridges Road where missing Rankin County man Joseph Skyler Burnley was last seen.

After a full day of searching, officials were unable to make any discoveries.

Police also submitted cell phones to the Mississippi FUSION Center and are awaiting the results of a forensic exam.

These cell phone records were requested pursuant to a search warrant.

There is currently a $10,000 reward with Central Mississippi Crime Stoppers. Police say they are surprised with this size of reward, that they have not received any additional leads.

We will continue to update as developments occur.
