A morning commuter ended up in an upside-down SUV inside a Ridgeland house, Thursday morning.

According to the Ridgeland police department, a driver was going 60 mph on the off ramp from I-55 southbound onto 220 when he lost control of the vehicle.

He ended up running through a fence into a house on Brame road.

Despite being upside down, the driver was relatively okay.

He was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Police say, right now, he's not facing any charges, but their investigation is continuing.

The collision knocked the house off its cinder block foundation.

The house was being used as a storage facility, so no one was inside when the wreck occurred.

Traffic was backed up for a little while because one lane of the off ramp was closed while the wreck was being cleaned up.
