JULIA'S FORECAST: Occasional Tuesday Storms

Julia Weiden's First Alert Tuesday Forecast

**A Heat Advisory is in effect for most of central Mississippi until 7pm today. Highs will feel as hot as 110.**

AM Commute: Rain and storms are around this morning, mainly south of I-20. Biggest concerns are heavy rain, thunder and lightning, and gusty winds. Otherwise, it's muggy and in the 70s as the day gets going, with temperatures in the low 80s by 9:00 AM.

This Afternoon: By mid afternoon as kids are coming home from school, the chance for rain and thunder redevelops. Showers and storms will be spotty to scattered along and south of the I-20 corridor. Highs are in the upper 90s but feel as hot as 110.

Rest of the Week: Skies are partly cloudy tonight and lows drop to the low 70s. Through Wednesday the humidity gradually lowers. Highs on Wednesday are in the mid 90s. Thursday will be the best feeling day, with highs in the low 90s and lower end humidity. Skies are mainly sunny. We'll be hot on Friday and through the weekend in the mid 90s, but the humidity stays tolerable.
