JACKSON, MS (WLBT) -

A Jackson teen accused of shooting another teenager made his court appearance on Tuesday.

"It was an accident, sir..."

Corderious Fountain says he accidentally shot a 15-year-old in the face last weekend. The 17-year-old made his first court appearance on a charge of aggravated assault.

It happened just before 9 on Saturday night on Pine Lane in south Jackson.

The victim was shot just above the eye and remains in critical condition. We found Facebook video of Fountain holding guns appearing, at times, to threaten someone.

The judge did not set bond for Fountain and he remains in jail.
