Carjacking teens have prior arrests

JACKSON, MS (WLBT) -  At least two of the three teens arrested in connection with the Belhaven homicide and violent crime spree, have been in trouble with the law before.

As I learned in my 3 On Your Side Investigation, they also appeared to have been partners in crime.17-year-old Antwain Dukes and 18-year-old Antreal Jones, both were arrested in March 2014 and indicted.

In these documents obtained from Jackson Jambalaya blogger, Kingfish, you can see the charge, armed robbery, use of a deadly weapon.

The victim in the cases against both suspects was Jerry Hammond, suggesting the two were working together.

Bond for Antwain Dukes was set at $25,000 by Judge Winston Kidd. Judge Houston Patton set bond for Antreal Jones at $10,000.

Both posted bond and were back on the streets awaiting trial.
