This week's Wednesday's Child was firm about not wanting to talk on camera.

Ten-year-old Prentiss says he likes guy stuff like mechanics and video games. He is hoping to build a special bond with a forever family.

The first thing Prentiss wanted to point out is that he would rather be called Devon. At 10 he considers himself a man's man. Devon would rather be outdoors, riding four wheelers or fishing which is one of his favorite things to do.

Devon also enjoys what he calls guy stuff like male bonding, working on cars or trucks and video games. Science is at the top of his list of things he likes at school.

When asked about some of the things he would like to do with a new family, Devon said he wants to sit down for family meals, to have time at the table to talk about his day, his family's day and plan for future trips, his education and career. He dreams of being adopted and always having a place at the dinner table.

It is Devon's hope to find a two parent family. He wants parents who will welcome him and treat him like what he calls a real son.
