The National Weather Service in Jackson reported damage to structures in Jasper County.

Meteorologist Alan Campbell said the strongest storms moved through the Rose Hill Community in north east Jasper County, that's about 30 miles south west of Meridian.

Structural damage is reported on County Road 20 also.

We're told the damage occurred just after 3 p.m.

There's also damage thee miles west north west of Rose Hill and also on Highway 503, where there may be possible roof damage.

The National Weather Service said it may have been caused by a possible tornado, but that is unconfirmed at this time.

Our C.J. LeMaster was in Jasper County and was told by the Jasper County Sheriff's Department, at least four trailers were severely damaged or destroyed in Rose Hill.

Power crews in the area told us at least nine power poles would have to be replaced or repaired.

There have been no reports of fatalities or injuries.
