Good Tuesday morning! We're getting down to the last couple days of 2014 and we're not seeing much warmth in store. However, today we'll have the improvement of at least having some sun come out. In the meantime expect a cloudy and foggy morning with some mist.
Some sun should start to come out by midday with clearer skies as we head towards the later afternoon. Despite that, we're not going to get much warmer today. Cool air comes in on a breeze out of the north today, generally around 5-15 mph with slightly stronger gusts. Our highs should only make it towards the 50 degree mark.
Skies remain clear tonight and temperatures fall into the upper 20s! The last day of 2014 will be sunny-looking but cool-feeling. We'll likely only top out in the upper 40s. Midnight temperature will be in the low and mid 30s.
New Year's Day starts off sunny, but clouds increase through the afternoon and there's a possibility for PM showers. Rain is more likely on Friday as a warm front lifts through the area. A cold front will push through shortly thereafter, allowing for rain and thunderstorms on Saturday afternoon. The weekend settles down for Sunday.
