Jackson Police said a car seen leaving the scene of a homicide, that occurred early Saturday morning, might provide clues to help find the gunman.
The shooting victim, James Hunter, 19, drove himself to the Exxon at 420 Hwy. 80 before passing away.
Police said about 10 minutes prior to the shooting a green Honda Accord, occupied by two black males, was seen leaving the gas station's parking lot behind the victim's vehicle.
Officer Colendula Green said the vehicle was found around 3:15 p.m. Saturday on Shaw Road in Jackson.
Investigators collected evidence at the scene.
JPD released photos from a surveillance camera of two unidentified men.
Officer Green said, "We need the public's assistance to help identify the two individuals."
Hunter was shot multiple times on Robinson Road near Loflin Drive.
Police said he was with three other people at the time. One other person was shot in the head and at last check was unresponsive and on life support at UMC.
The two other unidentified people have been questioned.
