It is becoming an all too familiar ritual for families who have lost loved ones. Wednesday night Jackson Police helped with a large crowd gathered on Bailey Avenue for a candlelight vigil for the victim of a fatal car accident.
So many people attended the vigil, one side of Bailey Avenue was blocked off.
Twenty-four year old Ernest Adams died in the accident early Sunday morning. Family and friends gathered at the site where his car landed on it's top to remember Adams and to celebrate his life.
Witnesses have said Adams was traveling down Bailey Avenue, lost control of his vehicle and hit a utility pole.
