Alabama rallies, beats Mississippi in final seconds

 Despite an 18-point 2nd quarter lead, the Magnolia State finding itself on the losing end of the annual Alabama-Mississippi All-Star game for a 7th consecutive year.

Mississippi State commit Justin Johnson (Hoover) caught the game-winning touchdown in the final seconds, as Alabama scored 26 of the game's final 28 points. Johnson was ruled to have wrestled the ball from T.J. Jallow (Olive Branch) on the winning score.

Mississippi took a 28-10 lead on Alabama in the 2nd quarter following an interception returned for a touchdown by Johnathan Abram (East Marion). Starkville's Brady Davis threw three 1st half touchdown passes, two to high school teammate Raphael Leonard.

The game was held in Montgomery's Cramton Bowl. The game will be played at Southern Miss next December.
