State Lawmaker Pushes for Police Body Cameras

 Espy Wants Legislation To Provide Body Cameras

Good evening this is Maggie Wade with some of the stories you'll see tonight on WLBT at 10.

State Representative Chuck Espy is citing deaths in Ferguson, Missouri and New York City as reasons Mississippi lawmakers should take action to provide officers with body cameras.


The rating for Jackson's water and sewer revenue bonds has been downgraded.  That could mean higher water rates for those who live in the city.


New at ten..Patrick House is in town to support Special Olympics.  We'll take you to the event that helps athletes compete in the state and nationally.
