Woman shoots innocent bystander after bar fight

According to JPD Officer Colendula Green, a bar fight between two women resulted in an innocent bystander being shot.

Jackson Police said the women got into an argument at the M-Bar on Ridgewood Court Drive and both began spraying mace.

A security guard escorted them out.

Police then said one of the women, 24-year-old Mary Harper went to her car and retrieved a 22 caliber handgun.

Harper fired one shot striking 24-year-old Jeremy Snow in the neck.

We're told Snow was not the intended victim and he's currently in intensive care.

We were also told Snow may be related to Harper.

Harper was also taken to UMMC because she was involved in an accident after leaving the scene.
