A man who showed up at a Hazlehurst hospital Monday morning with a gunshot wound will face charges in Greenwood. Robert Wilson faces attempted murder and armed robbery charges
Hazlehurst Police say they were not sure how Robert Lee Wilson got injured. After further investigation, officers discovered Wilson was a suspect in a shooting and attempted armed robbery at a Greenwood convenience store.
He was driven to Hazlehurst by three women. One woman now faces charges of accessory after the fact.
Once Wilson is released from the hospital, he will be arrested. The Greenwood store owner was also injured in the shooting.
