The owner of a Sprint Mart store had to close its doors briefly after a robbery early Saturday morning.
The owner of the store, located just south of Port Gibson off of Highway 61, told our newscrew two suspects robbed his store around 8 a.m. of an undisclosed amount and fired shots outside the store.
We were told no one was hurt and there were several witnesses to the incident. The owner, who did not want to be identified, told us the store was closed for about two hours after the robbery.
The owner told us the two suspects fled in an Alero, the color is unknown. We were told the vehicle has Warren County plates.
The owner said when the suspects fled the scene, they were headed toward Vicksburg.
We were told Warren County authorities were standing by and last we checked, the suspects are still at large.
We are working to get more information on a description of the suspects.
