The Hinds County District Attorney has dropped charges against a man previously indicted for drugs and weapons crimes.
Back in March, the sheriff's department raided Williams Complete Auto Care on Northside Drive. They seized 25 pounds of marijuana, a handgun and $6,000 in cash. Four people were arrested, including Marlon Williams.
Williams was indicted in August but on September 15 the D-A dropped all charges, asserting that the co-defendants had assumed liability.
To date, none of the co-defendants have been prosecuted or indicted. We are waiting for comment from the District Attorney.
