The cause of the Ag Museum fire has been determined

Much warmer fall afternoon under cloudy skies in the Jackson metro area. I'm Howard Ballou with a look at some of the news stories you will see on WLBT.

Hay stacked too close to wall-mounted light fixtures. That's what the State Fire Marshal investigators have determined to be the cause of the Agriculture Museum fire and was accidental in origin.

Plus, The full U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit has refused to reconsider the constitutionality of Mississippi's arbitrary and medically unwarranted law forcing a physician performing abortions to have admitting privileges at a local hospital.

And, Jackson police say that an autopsy revealed that 42-year-old Dana West died from a gunshot wound to the mouth. Early Wednesday morning, her body was found on Rose St. near Pascagoula St.
