A Tornado Relief Benefit will be held on Sunday, May 4 beginning at 3 pm outside in the green space next Hal and Mal's.
The event, called 'One Mississippi: Tornado Relief
Effort', seeks to raise money for
Mississippians who suffered loss during the recent storms that struck various
parts of the state on April 28.
With the generous help of local businesses and musicians, One Mississippi will feature live music, food, beverages and a silent auction.
According to a press release sent by Cathead Vodka, 100% of the proceeds
will be used in conjunction with the Red Cross for immediate relief efforts in
the Mississippi communities ravaged by tornados.
Food will be available from Parlor Market, 1908 Provisions, Manship Woodfired Kitchen, Pig and Pint, and Hal & Mal's. Beverages will provided by Capital City Beverage, Cathead Vodka, Brown Bottling, and Coca-Cola Enterprises.
According to Cathead, there will be live music by Mark Roemer, The Special Cause, Cody Cox, TB Ledford, Lucky Hand Blues Band, The Jason Daniels Band, and Rooster Blues.
We are told that admission is free and donations are strongly encouraged.
