Brandon woman killed in chase laid to rest

RANKIN COUNTY, MS (WLBT) -

The Brandon woman killed last Sunday in a high speed chase was laid to rest Saturday.

Funeral services were held Saturday for 37-year-old Milinda Clark at Spring Hill Baptist Church in Ellisville.

Clark's car was hit by fleeing suspects in a high speed police chase Sunday at the intersection off Lakeland Drive and Grant's Ferry Road.

She was on her way to pick up her children at church. Clark was a Social Worker at Region 8 Mental Health Center in Rankin County.

The driver of the vehicle that struck Clark's car, Robert Williams, faces several charges including felony fleeing resulting in the death of another person.
