Favre says his spat with Childress is 'resolved'

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) - Brett Favre is brushing aside his conflict with Minnesota coach Brad Childress.

Childress said he had a "good talk" with his quarterback on both Monday and Wednesday about their disagreement during Sunday's loss to Carolina. Childress has said he suggested to Favre that he come out of the game with the Vikings clinging to a 1-point lead. Minnesota eventually lost 26-7.

Childress also insists Favre has been "extremely true" to the offense in response to questions the 40-year-old hasn't followed orders.

Favre says the dispute is resolved and that he and Childress have communicated well this season.

After a 10-1 start, the Vikings have lost 2 of their last three games. Favre has thrown for only three touchdowns with four interceptions in December.
