Raymond Woman Charged with DUI

Test results indicate the woman who crashed into two surveyors in Clinton last month had a blood alcohol level more than twice the legal limit.

Forty-four-year-old Connie Musgrove Brewer of Raymond posted her 51-thousand dollar bond. She is charged with DUI and DUI disfigurement/severe injury. Brewer is accused of driving into Jeremiah Howard and Brian Jones on Highway 80 in Clinton, severely injuring them both.  Brewer's test results show she was under the influence of isopropyl alcohol with a blood alcohol content of .03% and acetone, with a blood alcohol content of .17%   A date for a preliminary hearing will be set later in Clinton municipal court.
