UM Drops Former Madison QB amid Drug Arrest

A former Madison Central High School quarterback who is now at Ole Miss is now facing drug charges.

Jared Foster was arrested in Oxford and charged with selling steroids.

He has also been kicked off the Ole Miss football team. He was to sign with them formally next month.

Foster was previously arrested in November 2006 on more than a dozen alcohol-related charges.

Monday's arrest follows an extensive investigation into the use and distribution of illegal steroids in Madison County.

Foster will have an initial court appearance on Thursday.
