Broadwater Qualifies to Run for Congress

Another Republican candidate has qualified for the third congressional seat being vacated by Chip Pickering.

State government employee James Broadwater is a former vocational minister and educator. Among the issues he wants to address are stopping illegal immigration, maintaining a strong military, protecting the right to bear arms, and reducing crime.

Broadwater will face at least six other Republicans in the March 11 primary.
