Mississippi home builders throw their support behind Phil Bryant for Lt. Governor.
The Republican and current state auditor accepted the state industry endorsement Tuesday in Jackson.
Association President Gary Jenkins sited Bryant's desire to create jobs, conservative values, and record of accountability in supporting the candidate.
Bryant said he was humbled and noted a long standing relationship with the association dating back to his days in the legislature.
The organization represents approximately 4,000 member firms.
Phil Bryant said, "Mississippi Association of Home Builders over 4,000 members strong now and continue to take an active role in their government, not passively sitting by letting the legislature decide what's good for their business."
Bryant faces Republican candidate Charlie Ross and Democrat Jamie Franks for the seat.
