JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - Kate Campbell and John McCutcheon performed a comical concert at the Belhaven College Center For The Arts in Jackson Saturday night.
Campbell was born in New Orleans and raised in northern Mississippi by a preacher father and blues singing mother. McCutcheon has earned top honors for his musical talents including seven Grammy nominations.
Saturday the pair performed together for the first time to benefit Mississippi's Ronald McDonald House.
"Proceeds for this benefit concert go to the Ronald McDonald House. We have a house on the grounds of UMC and we serve families who are from all over the state and even out of state who have to bring their children here for medical care," said Mike Gallerno, chairman of Ronald McDonald House of Mississippi.
