WLBT 3 - Jackson, MS: Edwards man sentenced for child pornography possession

HINDS COUNTY, MS (WLBT) - An Edwards man was sentenced to prison time for the possession of child pornography Monday.
57 year old George Duke entered an open plea in Hinds County Circuit court.
He was then sentenced to 15 years with ten suspended.
Duke was ordered to serve the remaining five years.
He was also given ten years probation and cannot have contact with children under the age of 15 during that time.
He was fined and must receive treatment for his problems after his release.
Duke was arrested in February of this year and accused of having hundreds of images of child porn on his computer.
