Flowood house fire ruled arson

Posted: Updated:

FLOWOOD, MS (WLBT) - A fire that destroyed a Flowood home Tuesday morning has been ruled arson.

The home located at 740 Luckney Road was heavily damaged during the blaze.

Wednesday, the owner of the home, Ronnie Trigg, told WLBT News that fire investigators have determined it was arson.

After the fire, Trigg said he believes the person who set the fire also wrote the word "payback" with lipstick on a car window in his driveway.

Trigg said his home and contents were insured.  He's now deciding if he will rebuild on the same spot.

No arrests have been made in this case.
