LOUISE, MS (WLBT) - An 84-year-old woman, who still takes care of her 62-year-old disabled son in the Mississippi Delta, is asking for a better place to live.
She has lived in a house that is literally falling down around her, since 1974.
It is on Old Five Mile Road, about a mile down a gravel road from the nearest pavement near Louise, Mississippi.
Robin Brown hopes people seeing her house on television willl help her get a new one.
A Humphreys County supervisor, Roy Broomfield, told us he is doing everything he can to help her and will continue. Ms. Brown and her son have to live on about $1,200 a month from Social Security, their only income, except for food stamps.
Her house leaks and is so full of stored items it is a fire hazard because it is heated by propane gas.
