SHARKEY COUNTY, MS (WLBT) - A Memphis fugitive, who is one of the 15 most wanted criminals in America, is possibly linked to a double murder here in Mississippi.
Sharkey County authorities are looking for Robert Lee King as a person of interest in the stabbing deaths of 31 year old Karitha Carroll and her three year old daughter Jamia.
The two were found Wednesday in their home on Highway 61 in Cary, south of Rolling Fork.
Sharkey County Sheriff Lindsey Adams said witnesses reported seeing King in Rolling Fork during the day of the murders.
Law officers are trying to confirm if he knew or had any type of relationship with the victims.
King is wanted for killing his girlfriend in Memphis in December of 2005.
