JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - A police report, obtained by the blog Jackson Jambalaya, reveals sickening details about the nightmare that was September 11, 2007.

That's the day Mary Heather Spencer was found dead at the hands of her cocaine-fueled boyfriend, George Bell III.

The report raises questions about why, earlier this year, Jackson officials first refused to hand over the police report, then gave WLBT a copy with nearly every line blacked out.

It also raises questions about why charges were dropped against Bell's mother Robbie.

Even though Bell is spending life in prison, state and county officials dropped charges against Bell's mother, Robbie, earlier this year. She was indicted for being an accessory after the fact.

"Do I think Robbie Bell's guilty? From what I've heard, yes. But I would like to hear her side. I would like to hear everything," said Dale Spencer, Heather's uncle.

"Something ain't right, something is being swept under the rug," said Spencer.

According to statements in the report, Bell begged her son to turn himself in, but never called police, even when her son left the house the morning after the murder.

During that time, he drove Heather's car to her home and kidnapped her roomate, Elizabeth Hall, at gunpoint. According to the report, he woke her, told her Heather was in the shower, snorted cocaine on her table, then forced her back to his mother's house.

According to the report, Bell called her brother in law, James Bell, after the kidnapping. He helped Hall escape from the scene, but Bell refused to go with them, saying she didn't want to leave her son.

The police report also shows that one of Bell's initial attorneys was Ed Peters- a man who later gave up his law license amid allegations of bribery and scandal.
