WLBT 3 - Jackson, MS: Parchman guards busted for smuggling in phones and drugs

PARCHMAN, MS (WLBT) - Three correction officers are charged with smuggling marijuana and cell phones into the Mississippi State Penitentiary at Parchman.
42-year-old Lawyer Ross faces eight counts of bringing contraband into a prison and 21-year-old Carmin Washington faces one count. Thirty-six-year-old Tonia Jones is charged with conspiracy.
All three have posted bond.
