WLBT 3 - Jackson, MS: Woman struck several times by multiple vehicles

AMITE COUNTY, MS (WLBT) - An Amite County woman was killed after being run over repeatedly on a dark, rural road.
Assistant Coroner Danielle Sharp says Annie Nunnery, 45, of Liberty died around 11:30 Friday night. It happened north of Liberty on Thompson Road near Young Lane.
Investigators found Nunnery's body on the pavement. She died of multiple blunt force trauma injuries and she was hit by several vehicles.
The Amite County sheriff's department is investigating but did not return WLBT's calls for additional information.
