JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - Tens of thousands of dollars is landing in the hands of three groups that help families and communities.
$40,000 has been split between them, courtesy of partnership grant funds from Bank Plus and the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas.
The checks were presented on February 1.
$16,000 went to The Center for Social Entrepreneurship, which helps with quality of life.
Madison Countians Allied Against Poverty, or MadCAAP, also got $16,000.
Dress for Success received more than $10,000 dollars. The money allows each group to continue their good works.
