Drugs, guns, and cash seized in bust

JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - Hinds County narcotics agents and Richland Police made a major drug bust Wednesday evening.

Tips from the community led law enforcement to a home on the 500 block of Raymond Road in South Jackson.

Upon entering the home, they found methamphetamine, xanax, marijuana and two stolen firearms.

Three suspects were taken into custody; Omar Silas, 21, Curtis Harrison, 33, and Simeon Rolle, 18, all from Jackson.

Omar Silas was identified as being out on bond for Possession of a Stolen Firearm at the time of the arrest.

Harrison and Silas have been charged with four counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute while in Possession of a Firearm and Possession of Stolen Firearms.

Harrison was also charged with being a Convicted Felon in Possession of a Firearm.

Rolle is being charged with two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute and Possession of a Stolen Firearm.

Evidence of Animal Cruelty was discovered at the home and additional charges are possible. Deputies found three puppies dead in a trash can.
