According to Vicksburg Chief Milton Moore, a volunteer fighter named Marquise Rashad Holmes is being charged with culpable manslaughter and aggravated assault-recklessly.

Chief Moore says that Holmes was driving behind the victims' vehicle with his red lights going, trying to pull the car over, which police say they believe was a factor in the crash.

Police say Holmes told them he didn’t know the women and they are not sure why he was trying to pull them over.

Holmes appeared in the Vicksburg Municipal Court on Monday and his bond was set at $300,000. He was transported to the Warren County Jail, where he will be held pending bond or next grand jury.
