JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - Feels-like temps will be starting off in the upper teens/lower 20s this morning! Be sure to bundle up heading out the door as gusty winds continue to usher in COLD air for the rest of our holiday weekend. High temperatures will reach the low 40s this afternoon, but feels-like temperatures won’t make it out of the 30s all day long. We drop into the 20s tonight before rebounding back into the 50s by MLK Day... First Alert Days are still in effect today and tomorrow for this reason!
A brief warm-up is on the way for the middle of the work week, however rain chances will also ramp up in this time. Wednesday is certainly looking to be the rainiest of the 7-day forecast!
Once that cold front pushes through, a series of other cold fronts will move in for the following weekend... this will, once again, drop temperatures dramatically and we will need to watch any precipitation chances closely in this time frame! Stay tuned for updates and stay warm!
