JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - The Jackson Police Department announced it is having it’s first Prayer Vigil under the administration of Chief of Police James E. Davis.

The department encourages the public to attend the event taking place Thursday, December 27 at 3:30 pm, on the steps of the Jackson Police Department Headquarters, located at 327 East Pascagoula Street in downtown Jackson.

If the weather is bad, the meeting will be held just inside of the police headquarters in the 1st floor Courtroom, Room 131.
