JACKSON, MS (WLBT) -The City of Jackson along with Working Together Jackson are helping citizens keep their water flowing with a two-day customer service event.
Friday and Saturday, water department representatives are at the Jackson Medical Mall Media Room settling customer accounts, correcting errors, answering questions and offering payment options to you.
Linda Lindsey is customer service manager for the Jackson water department.
She said, “What the city is trying to and this is what I do everyday, is try to help our constituents to make these bills sensible and put them in a position where they can be able to make monthly payments, even though they are severely delinquent.”
The city will be back at the Jackson Medical Mall Saturday from 10 am until 2 pm.
There will be 10 more water/sewer assistance events throughout the city until the end of March.
