BIRMINGHAM, AL (WLBT) - A pair of Saturday matinees nationally televised by CBS at Humphrey Coliseum highlight the 2018-19 SEC slate for the Mississippi State men’s basketball team announced Wednesday by the league office.
The Bulldogs will face Ole Miss (Jan. 12 – 12 p.m. CT) and Kentucky (Feb. 9 – 12 p.m. CT) as part of the SEC’s six-game package with CBS.
Mississippi State will be featured nine times on the SEC Network with home games versus Auburn (Jan. 26 – 7:30 p.m. CT), Alabama (Feb. 12 – 8 p.m. CT), South Carolina (Feb. 23 – 5 p.m. CT) and Missouri (Feb. 26 – 6 p.m. CT) televised.
The Bulldogs have six games among the ESPN package (ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU and SEC Network) flex scheduling where the television network will be determined between 7-10 prior to tipoff. Those matchups include home tilts with Florida (Jan. 15 – 6 p.m. CT), LSU (Feb. 6 – 8 p.m. CT) and Texas A&M (March 9 – 1 p.m. CT).
Mississippi State’s SEC opener at South Carolina (Jan. 8 – 8 p.m. CT) will be carried on ESPNU.
