OXFORD, MS (WLBT) - Officers with the Oxford Police Department responded to a residence on Mimosa Drive for a report of a stolen vehicle around 3:09 a.m. on Wednesday, September 12.

The abandoned vehicle was discovered by officers a short while later.

After an investigation, 55-year-old Larry Gillom from Abbeville was named a suspect.

Gillom was taken into custody later that day and transported to the Lafayette County Detention Center, where he was charged with felony motor vehicle theft.

His bond was set at $10,000 by a judge, but was revoked due to Gillom already being out on a previous felony bond.
