JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - A Rankin County jury found Hinds County District Attorney Robert Schuler Smith not guilty of robbery on Wednesday.
Smith is facing felony charges in Rankin County. He was accused of domestic violence, stalking and robbery after an argument in 2015 involving a former girlfriend.
The jury was deadlocked on the aggravated stalking charge.
Smith and his team previously requested the charges be dismissed but the State Supreme Court denied his requests.
